UX Researcher Lead- FinTech- Remote

Help build out the user’s needs in a rapidly scaling company!

Our Client, a quickly growing company in the FinTech industry is looking for a UX Researcher Lead. Reporting to the Head of Product Design, you’ll have an exciting opportunity to help build out the research function. You’ll work with stakeholders across many functions and levels, and will have an impact at all stages of product development.  

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and translate research findings for product and business impact
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, product designers, and business leads to articulate research questions and define testable hypotheses
  • Lead complex research at scale employing diverse research methodologies and appropriate analysis methods
  • Design, plan and conduct user research, employing methods such as remote usability tests (moderated and unmoderated), concept tests, user interviews, field, and diary studies, competitive evaluations, surveys, and other relevant methodologies, particularly within generative research
  • Lead in the translation of findings into impactful results, activating design thinking and concept making through facilitation 
  • Synthesize and communicate research findings to inform business decisions through rich storytelling via presentations, reports, workshops, and any other novel
  • Excellent time management and understanding of how your work ladders up into strategic and commercial priorities
  • Adapt and innovate research methods to meet product needs by delivering high-quality insights in a fast-paced work
  • Proactively identify opportunities for effectively using UX research to achieve its business objectives
  • Support team members in translating insights from research into actions
  • Support teams in building out their roadmaps leveraging research insights
  • Help identify and manage tools and maintain relationships with a UXR agency

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in user experience research
  • A demonstrated understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during the product development process
  • The ability to scope and structure complex research projects involving multiple cross-functional teams
  • The ability to actively organize teams to participate in user-focused development, advocating for the user at all stages
  • Experience preparing large projects unaided, organizing users, stakeholders, and teams to bring together efficient research
  • The ability to analyze and think critically
  • Understanding of business metrics and confidence to inform decision making
  • Experience promoting User Research within a growing organization
