Senior Web/Interactive Designer (Remote or NYC)

An exciting opportunity to create innovative web designs in the IT Services and Consulting sector.

Our Client, a boutique IT service and consulting agency, is in search of a Senior Web/Interactive designer to join their team. In this role you will be a self-starter who prefers not to be boxed into one area of responsibility, you have a keen eye for creating an intuitive, impactful design.

 Responsibilities:

• Design end-to-end, clean, engaging websites without creative briefs and/or style guides
• Design user-centered experiences that balance the needs of users and the needs of the business in collaboration with the Creative Director and Art Director
• Occasionally create graphic designs for Pitchbooks, as well as infographics/data visualization
• Become familiar with our client base in order to represent and interpret their needs effectively 
• Ensure you take into account all the aspects and challenges of responsive web design in order to support every combination of screen size
• Aim to design with accessibility in mind
• Oversee the execution of the projects you designed after they are handed off to our in-house programming team 

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of UI/UX design experience
• Expertise in designing intuitive site functionality, interaction, architecture, user interfaces, and navigation
• Proven experience with graphic, print, and infographic design 
• Excellent time management skills
• Working knowledge of HTML 5, CSS, and the ability to work closely with developers
• Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) 
• AE and PremierPro experience a bonus but not required
• Experience in financial services or B2B marketing is a huge plus
