Our client’s organization has launched one of the most exciting and innovative Corporate / Sales Training and Team-Building concepts in the world. Based in New York City, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Director to lead their dynamic team focused on selling their solutions to clients across various industries.

The Sales Director will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our sales efforts, cultivating client relationships, and ensuring the growth of our business. 

This role is 100% on-site in New York City, offices located near the World Trade Center.

 

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Leadership and Team Management – Provide strong leadership to a team of sales professionals, motivating and guiding them towards achieving sales targets. Conduct regular team meetings, performance evaluations, and one-on-one coaching sessions to enhance individual and team performance.
  • Sales Strategy and Planning – Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies and plans that align with the company’s overall business objectives. Identify potential market segments, target clients, and competitive landscape to drive effective sales approaches.
  • Client Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and challenges to position our sales training solutions. Conduct presentations and engage in consultative discussions with potential clients to showcase the value of our training offerings.
  • Process Optimization – Streamline the sales process, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to best practices. Develop and implement effective sales methodologies to enhance conversion rates and shorten sales cycles.
  • Sales Performance Tracking and Reporting – Monitor individual and team sales performance against targets and KPIs, providing timely feedback and implementing corrective actions when necessary. Generate regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
  • Product Knowledge and Market Insights – Maintain a deep understanding of our sales training solutions, staying up-to-date with industry trends and competitor offerings. Provide feedback to the product development team based on client insights and market needs.

 

Must-Have Requirements:

  • 7+ years’ proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably within the sales training solutions or corporate training industry.
  • Expertise in Consultative Sales and Account Based Marketing.
  • Experience selling to C-Suite clients.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or team management role, with a strong ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Very high EQ and the ability to develop sincere and lasting team and client relationships
  • The ability to adapt to a very dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proficiency in using Sales Force software and other sales tools. 
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into actionable sales strategies.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and customer-oriented mindset.
  • Legal work authorization.
  • Able to work on-site full-time in New York City. No relocation is offered.

 

Preference may be given to applicants with:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience selling HR products to HR professionals, such as SaaS applications, employee training courses/workshops, employee experience, and executive leadership coaching.

 

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base Salary $140,000 / Uncapped OTE
  • Full Health Care (including Dental and Vision)
