Head of Product – SAAS / AI – Hybrid SFO


Our client is seeking a Head of Product to help drive strategies for their exciting new service/assistant AI products. This San Francisco-based company uses the latest AI technologies, such as LLM, to accelerate the development of service-related tools and platforms. In collaboration with their in-house expertise and global tech giants like Anthropic, Google, Microsoft, and OpenAI, they aim to maximize the potential of generative AI to create innovative customer services. Headquartered in Santa Clara, it is owned and backed by one of the world’s largest telecommunications companies.

The Head of Product will lead the strategic development of all products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and execute comprehensive product strategies and roadmaps, focusing on innovation and efficiency.

This is a hybrid role, on-site in San Francisco (Santa Clara), ideally 3+ days per week in the office.


  • Complete ownership of Product Roadmaps
  • Customer-Centric Strategy: Collaborate with customers to deeply understand their needs and challenges.
  • Strategic Product Development: Define and execute product strategies that align with broader business objectives and market trends.
  • Efficiency in Solution Development: Emphasize efficiency in the development of products, ensuring streamlined and strategic processes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Research, Design, Technology, Business) to bring innovation and efficiency to our product process.
  • Product Launch: Lead product launches, ensuring effective coordination with marketing, sales, and customer success teams.
  • Product Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Sales Support: Provide sales teams with the necessary tools, training, and collateral to effectively position and sell our products.



  • 8+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager, including at least 3+ in a leadership role
  • Demonstrated success in launching and optimizing products (relevant case studies)
  • B2C SaaS experience
  • Mobile and web experience
  • Chatbots / Messaging / Voice / Multimodal experience
  • Customer Service Assistance tech/applications experience
  • Startup experience
  • Individual Contributor – willing to do the work while the team grows (this is a first Product Team hire)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with working alongside a wide variety of stakeholders, including tech, design, and business
  • A growth-oriented mindset and can thrive in a rapidly growing company
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
