Design System Lead – Remote

Our Client, a leader in developing technologies for the Life Science & Biotech industries is offering an exciting opportunity for a Design System Lead. In this role you will help launch and maintain a new design system across over 70 products. 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ongoing strategy, implementation, documentation, and adoption of a new design system to create a more modern, consistent, and accessible user experience
• Ability to lead the design system team and contribute to designing and evolving the system
• Thrive in a highly collaborative development team to ensure alignment with design

Qualifications:

• 5+Years UX/UI design experience. 
• Prior experience contributing to designing and evolving design systems
• A systems thinker who has the ability to look at the holistic solution, considering how the detailed components and decisions impact the broader needs of users and products
• Deep knowledge of design system concepts and best practices
• Track record of collaborating with developers
• Understanding of the technical concepts required
• Expert in Figma components and shared libraries
• Able to collaborate with and provide direction to other design team members
• Expert visual design skills
