Our client is seeking a talented Account Director to join their team to lead their higher education accounts. As an Account Director, you will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships, driving account growth, and ensuring the successful implementation of marketing strategies. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management

  • Act as the managing point of contact for higher education clients, fostering strong, long-lasting relationships.
  • Understand client needs, objectives, and challenges to effectively align our services and offerings.
  • Provide exceptional client service, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely manner.
  • Lead client meetings, presentations, and workshops, effectively communicating strategies and campaign updates.
  • Proactively address client issues, resolve conflicts, and maintain high client satisfaction.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, providing guidance and insights on marketing best practice

Campaign Implementation and Oversight

  • Ensure enrollment marketing strategies and initiatives for higher education accounts are implemented and successful.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including brand strategy, creative, digital, web, project management, and sales/marketing, to execute engagements effectively.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and provide recommendations for areas of improvement. 

Account Growth and Retention

  • Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with the business development team to develop account expansion strategies and upsell additional services.
  • Implement retention strategies to ensure long-term client satisfaction and loyalty.

Team Lead/Management

  • Manage and mentor an account team responsible for executing day-to-day client activities.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the team, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting professional growth and development.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field. 
  • 7-10 years of experience in account management or client services within the marketing or advertising industry, preferably with a focus in higher education.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing client relationships and driving account growth.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with experience in managing and developing account teams.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously.
  • Results-oriented mindset, with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in utilizing project management tools and marketing technology platforms.
  • Knowledge of enrollment marketing strategies, trends, and best practices in the higher education sector.
