Sr. UX Designer

Open to remote working arrangements; however, it is preferable for this role to be based in Atlanta or Pittsburgh

Our client, an award-winning product development firm, is looking for a Sr. UX Designer to join their growing team. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects for a variety of clients, which means every project will be unique.
Responsibilities:
- Develop user interfaces for digital products and experiences, as well as IoT applications.
- Transform business requirements into compelling user stories and design inputs by bridging the gap between research insights and tangible concepts.
- Conceptualize the larger concept in light of user needs, technical specifications, and innovation opportunities.
- Transform opportunity areas into compelling, evidence-based concepts by defining and prioritizing them.
- Design Information Architectures that improve the usability of products based on large volumes of content and data.
- Analyze user research inputs to create customer journeys, ecosystem maps, and personas.
- Create wireframes, user flow diagrams, and application maps for complex systems that can be used for a seamless handoff between developers.
- Develop color, typography, imagery, motion, and sound-based design language systems.
- Use Sketch, InVision, and Figma to create low-fidelity, medium-fidelity, and high-fidelity prototypes throughout the design process.
- Participate in the planning and scoping of major client projects and assist with the development of new business.
Qualifications:
- 6+ yrs. exp. designing digital experiences in a fast-paced, cross-functional design and development team. Experience with healthcare/medical devices is a plus.
- Degree or professional qualification(s) in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related design or behavioral science discipline.
- Prior experience working in a leading creative agency, or advertising/marketing firm.
- A skilled user of Sketch, InVision, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Prior experience designing user interfaces for products, mobile applications, and IoT experiences.
- Expertise in Agile/Lean methodologies.
- Set deadlines and prioritize work across multiple projects at the same time, coordinating with internal teams and clients to meet them.
- Experience leading teams and managing at least one direct report.
