Junior/Mid-level Interactive Designer (Remote or NYC)

An exciting opportunity to create innovative designs in the IT Services and Consulting sector.

Our Client, a boutique IT service and consulting agency, is in search of a Jr.-Mid Level Interactive designer to join their team. In this role you will be a self-starter who prefers not to be boxed into one area of responsibility, you have a keen eye for creating an intuitive, impactful design.

Responsibilities:

• Create clean, engaging, end-to-end web designs that balance user goals and business objectives with the Creative Director and Art Director
• Ensure you take into account all the aspects and challenges of responsive web design in order to support every combination of screen size
• Consider accessibility when designing
• Manage the implementation of projects you designed once they are handed off to our in-house programmers

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of UI/UX design experience
• Experience designing intuitive site functionality, interaction, site architecture, user interfaces, and navigation
• Proven experience with graphic, print, and infographic design is a HUGE plus 
• Excellent time management skills
• Understanding of HTML 5, CSS, and working closely with developers
• Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) 
• AE and PremierPro experience a bonus but are not required
• Experience in financial services or B2B marketing is a huge plus
