Director, Product Design- Web & Mobile

Our Client, a global technology company pioneering the world of immersive reality is seeking to hire a Director, Product Design for WEb and Moblie. The ideal candidate will manage and expand a team of designers to create best-in-class experiences. 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams through all stages of the design process and product development lifecycle to build delightful and scalable solutions.
• Provide agile research to gain a deep understanding of the problem space and understanding in user needs through both qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Optimize workflows to reduce complexity and create consistency.
• Overseeing a team of designers across multiple verticals and platforms (web and mobile).
• Effectively communicate design directions and details with well-articulated designs and high-quality deliverables.
• Provide advocacy for our users, by understanding customer needs, and proposing design solutions to help them.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Extensive knowledge in 2D design software (Figma, Principle/Invision or any prototyping tool, Adobe suite including Photoshop and Illustrator).
• Strong knowledge of visual principles and design standards (graphic, proportion, typography, composition, color).
• Strong experience in UX design (creating user flow, wireframe, prototype)
• Experience with events and entertainment businesses is a plus
• International product experience is a plus
• Capacity to lead and develop world-class practices and experience building organizations that achieve this
